Moshannon Creek Watershed Association works to protect and improve Moshannon Creek and its tributary streams in west central Pennsylvania, where the roughly 274-square-mile watershed forms much of the border between Clearfield and Centre counties. Its work splits between remediating stretches contaminated by drainage from abandoned coal and clay mines and safeguarding the clean headwaters and tributaries that still hold wild trout. It is a membership organization supported by dues, donations, and volunteers.
