Moraine Preservation Fund

The Moraine Preservation Fund is a volunteer-driven nonprofit that partners with Moraine State Park and public and private entities to support conservation, education, recreation and park improvements. Its work began with wildlife projects including the reintroduction of osprey, Project Batitat and a barn owl program, and now includes a Native Plant and Butterfly Trail and a new ADA-accessible trail begun in 2025. It funds this work through the Owlet Gift Shop, interpretive boat tours on Lake Arthur, and a membership program.
