Montour Trail Council

The Montour Trail Council is a Pennsylvania 501(c)(3) that builds and maintains the Montour Trail, a multi-use, non-motorized recreational pathway around Pittsburgh that it describes as the country's longest suburban rail-trail. The roughly 47-mile main line runs through Allegheny and Washington Counties from Coraopolis on the Ohio River to Clairton on the Monongahela, with branches bringing the network past 60 miles. The trail links to the Great Allegheny Passage and C&O Canal Towpath.
