Montana Audubon, founded in 1976, is an independent statewide organization whose stated mission is to promote appreciation, knowledge, and conservation of Montana's native birds, other wildlife, and natural ecosystems. Its work spans bird conservation research and citizen science surveys, conservation ranching, and policy advocacy at the state and federal levels.
