Monhegan Associates Inc

Monhegan Associates is a private nonprofit land trust founded in 1954 that owns and manages nearly 400 acres of the Wildlands of Monhegan Island, Maine, along with roughly nine miles of walking trails open to the public at no cost. Its mission is to preserve for posterity the Wildlands of Monhegan Island while fostering collaboration with the island communities. The trust also hosts an ecology lecture series and supports scientific research on the island.
