Monarch Bear Institute

The Monarch Bear Institute is a California 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit founded in 2002, dedicated to the rediscovery and protection of California's sacred places and the recognition of the arts as sacred spiritual processes. Its site states that its current activity is limited to developing a holistic healers referral network. Stated future goals include acting as a land trust that receives and stewards land for spiritual and artistic purposes and creating a stewardship trust for the Monarch Bear Grove in Golden Gate Park.
