Mobile Baykeeper

Mobile Baykeeper works to protect Alabama's coastal waters from Mobile, saying it will know it is successful when no one has to question whether the fish are safe to eat or the water is safe to swim in, and when seagrasses and oyster reefs recover. Its campaigns target federal mud dumping in Mobile Bay, coal ash disposal, wastewater reform in Prichard, and growth planning in Baldwin County. It also runs a swim guide on water safety, publishes CURRENTS magazine, and takes pollution reports from residents.
