Missouri River Natural Resources Committee

The Missouri River Natural Resources Committee was formed in 1987 to promote and facilitate the preservation, conservation, and enhancement of the natural resources of the Missouri River System. It is a consortium of state and federal biologists from the seven river states that prioritizes resource management issues, plans collaborative research, and coordinates among the agencies responsible for the river's natural resources. It hosts an annual conference that rotates among member states and presents the Missouri River Champion Award.
