Missouri Farmland Preservation Tr

Missouri Farmland Preservation Trust is a 501(c)(3) founded in 1995 and based in Smithville, Missouri, that promotes the conservation and preservation of farm lands and open spaces around the fringe of Missouri's urban areas. It works through conservation easements, arguing that the farms and woodlands surrounding Missouri cities provide clean air, fresh food, and quality of life. It affiliates with the American Farmland Trust, the Land Trust Alliance, and the Missouri Prairie Foundation.
