Mississippi Sound Conservancy is a Mississippi nonprofit working across the Mississippi Sound, from the Mississippi-Louisiana coastal border to Mobile Bay, including Cat, Ship, Horn, Petit Bois, and Dauphin islands. It carries out research, monitoring, and maintenance of beachfront water quality and critical coastal fisheries habitat, and develops restoration projects for coastal fisheries including federally listed endangered species. It also runs community outreach programs on stewardship of these habitats.
