Mississippi Coast Audubon Society

Mississippi Coast Audubon Society is a National Audubon Society chapter, established in 1976, serving Mississippi's six coastal counties: Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, George, Stone, and Pearl River. It works on education, conservation, and protection of natural resources in southern Mississippi, with a particular focus on the Least Tern and its nesting habitat. Activities include field trips and birding outings, the Christmas Bird Count, habitat restoration, and volunteering at the Pascagoula River Audubon Center.
