The Minnesota River Valley Audubon Chapter promotes environmental awareness, education, and advocacy action relating to the wildlife and habitats of the Minnesota River Valley. It holds monthly meetings with speakers, runs field trips and birding events, and publishes a bi-monthly newsletter, The Trumpeter. The chapter also supports citizen science initiatives such as Pileated Woodpecker monitoring and administers grant programs, meeting at the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center in Bloomington.
