Minnesota Prescribed Fire Council

The Minnesota Prescribed Fire Council promotes and expands the safe and beneficial use of prescribed fire, envisioning a state where fire is valued, accessible, and applied across all fire-dependent landscapes regardless of land ownership or agency. It builds a community of burn practitioners for knowledge sharing, advocates for supportive policy and liability protections, provides training, and conducts public education. It holds annual meetings and publishes resources including a Fire Needs Assessment.
