The Mineral Footprint Network promotes responsible extraction, use, and stewardship of materials produced from shared landscapes. It argues that ecological awareness must be complemented by material awareness, publishing sections on environmental footprints, material footprints, socioeconomic impacts, and future outlooks. It was founded and is led by Dayan Anderson, who describes 24 years working in mining operations and sustainability across multiple sectors and continents.
