Midwest Waters is a watershed protection and conservation policy project that fosters dialog among constituencies in the Midwest to frame and implement sustainable watershed-based conservation strategies. Rather than running restoration projects itself, it builds partnerships between environmental policy leaders, agencies, businesses, and rural and agricultural land use communities. Its Shoal Creek Consortium in southwest Missouri partners with The Nature Conservancy and the Land Learning Foundation.
