Middlebury Land Trust, Inc.

A nonprofit membership land trust founded in 1969 by residents of Middlebury, Connecticut, to acquire and preserve land and conservation easements held in perpetuity as open space. It protects forests, meadows, swamps, marshes, ponds, and streams to maintain the town's rural character and a healthy environment. The trust also works with the town to support implementation of the local Plan of Development.
