Middle Rock Conservation Partners

A 501(c)(3) not-for-profit in Franklin Grove, Illinois that assists and coordinates with citizens, agencies and non-governmental organizations to protect and steward habitat for species in greatest need of conservation in the Middle Rock Region. Its stewardship work includes prescribed fire, brush mowing and invasive plant management on public and private lands, including the Samuel and Edna Hill Preservation Site and the Green River Lowlands conservation opportunity area. Volunteers carry out much of the restoration work.
