Middle Colorado Watershed Council

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit convener in Rifle, Colorado working to evaluate, protect and enhance the health of the Middle Colorado River watershed through the cooperative effort of watershed stakeholders, across roughly 2,200 square miles from Glenwood Canyon to De Beque. Its work spans wildfire resilience, aquatic and riparian habitat restoration, water quality and supply monitoring, and river recreation and flow management. It coordinates public agencies, private landowners and nonprofits across jurisdictions.
