MARACOOS is the Mid-Atlantic's regional coastal ocean observing system, turning real-time marine data into decision-making tools for coastal hazards and safety, maritime operations, water quality and public health, fisheries, and energy. It operates observing assets including high-frequency radar, underwater gliders, and satellite ground stations across the region, and publishes the data through its OceansMap portal.
