Miami Waterkeeper

Miami Waterkeeper is a Miami-based 501(c)(3) whose stated mission is to protect South Florida's waters by advocating for resilient solutions grounded in science, rooted in nature, and driven by community. It works across three linked areas: clean water, ecosystem protection for coral reefs, mangroves and seagrasses, and sea level rise resilience. Its activities include weekly water quality testing across Biscayne Bay, pollution reporting, volunteer and Junior Ambassador programs, and campaigns on Turkey Point, coral reef protection, and septic tanks.
