Mesa County Land Conservancy Inc

Now operating as Colorado West Land Trust, the organization protects agricultural land, wildlife habitat, and scenic lands in western Colorado, from the Grand Valley to Red Mountain Pass and the La Sal Mountains to Blue Mesa Reservoir. It reports more than 144,000 acres conserved, including over 13,000 acres of prime farmland and 30-plus miles along major rivers. Its work spans agriculture, water, outdoor recreation, and wildlife habitat through conservation easements and land stewardship.
