Mequon Nature Preserve is a 510-acre protected site in Mequon, Wisconsin, which it describes as Wisconsin's largest protected urban green space. It restores and manages three habitat types, including roughly 200 acres of prairie supporting more than 150 wildflower species, wetlands with accessible boardwalks, and hardwood forest. It offers free school field trips reaching more than 3,000 students annually and six miles of trails open dawn to dusk with free admission.
