Mendocino Land Trust

Mendocino Land Trust, based in Fort Bragg, California, conserves land, manages preserves and beaches, and creates public coastal access across Mendocino County. It holds and monitors conservation easements on private land, builds and maintains public trails, and runs habitat restoration and invasive species removal work. It created California's first public access easement accepted by a nonprofit in 1996 at the Mendocino Bay Viewpoint and offers Redwood Ecology Grants funding field trips for grades 3 through 8.
