Mendham Alliance For Preservation & Conservation A Nj Nonprofit

MAPC is a Mendham, New Jersey nonprofit providing support and advocacy for sustainable land conservation, preservation, and stewardship across Mendham Township and Mendham Borough, home to the headwaters of the Passaic, Raritan, and Whippany Rivers. It formed in response to local development proposals and Township Master Plan changes, working to protect sensitive areas under the Highlands Act and to develop conservation zoning categories. It holds memberships with the Great Swamp Watershed Association and the New Jersey Highlands Coalition.
