Meddybemps Lake Land Trust

Meddybemps Lake Land Trust is a Maine 501(c)(3) founded in 2015 to protect and preserve in perpetuity the scenic landscapes, natural terrain, and native ecosystems of the lakeshore lands, wetlands, and adjoining woodlands of the Meddybemps Lake watershed. Its work covers land stewardship, habitat restoration, and public access through maintained trails and property tours. It partners with Downeast Lakes Land Trust, which purchased 503 acres along Meddybemps Lake and Ryan Lake under a NAWCA grant with MLLT managing the lands.
