Matheia Society Foundation

A private foundation established in 2004 to counter what it describes as philosophy's declining importance in academia and to promote contextual understanding. It operates as the Matheia Society, a group of people who consciously seek a coherent worldview by developing answers to twelve fundamental philosophical questions, taking its name from the Greek philomatheia, love of learning. Its office is in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
