Mastic Beach Conservancy Corp

A community-led 501(c)(3) working to conserve the 6.5 miles of publicly accessible recreational waterfront in the Mastic Beach and Shirley Conservation Area on Long Island. Its members are residents of Mastic Beach, Mastic, and Shirley who work on conservation, education, and community-building in response to climate change and sea-level rise. Current projects include a continuous blue/green nature trail network along the waterfront and an Ecology and Arts Education Center at Violets Cove.
