Maryland Forestry Boards Foundation Inc

The Maryland Forestry Foundation works to foster the sustainable use of Maryland's forest resources, educate the public on the benefits of forests, and advocate for the protection and expansion of forest cover across the state. It supports the 24 local Forestry Boards, helps private landowners with tree planting and sustainable forest management, and runs education programs including fellowships and natural resources career camps. It also maintains the Big Tree Program and its champion tree database.
