Marine Order For Research & Action Through Environmental Stewardship

MORAES is a Miami-based nonprofit committed to the understanding, viability, and protection of the local marine environment through conservation, research, and environmental stewardship. It runs a Virginia Key sea turtle nesting survey under an FWC marine turtle permit, a cetacean aerial survey project using drones, and beach erosion research. It also offers internships and scholarships aimed at retaining local marine ecologists in South Florida.
