The Mariaville Lake Civic Association, established in 1918, works to protect and preserve Mariaville Lake and the surrounding community in Duanesburg/Pattersonville, New York. It monitors lake water levels and operates the dam, deciding when to open and close it based on rainfall and season, and runs an Invasive Aquatic Plant Management Program. It also handles membership and lake-access launch keys, publishes a newsletter, and hosts community social events.
