Manatee County Audubon Society

A chapter of the National Audubon Society working to protect, preserve, and restore the natural environment by building awareness and appreciation of birds, wildlife, and native habitat in Manatee County, Florida, and surrounding areas. It maintains the 28-acre Felts Audubon Preserve in Palmetto with walking trails and birding access, and runs education programs, bird identification classes, and community events such as the Christmas Bird Count.
