Mamaroneck Coastal Environment Coalition Inc

The Mamaroneck Coastal Environment Coalition is a nonprofit that gathers and publishes information for residents and government officials about land-use policy and practice in Mamaroneck, New York, focusing on environmentally sensitive coastal areas. It formed around the long-running dispute over redevelopment of the Hampshire Country Club property in the Orienta neighborhood, opposing successive residential proposals there on flooding, habitat and open-space grounds.
