Malibu Foundation For Environmental Education

The Malibu Foundation for Environmental Education runs Kids Ocean Day, a program that aims to empower kids to save the Earth by connecting them to the beaches and the ocean. It pairs school assemblies and classroom outreach with an annual beach cleanup event for elementary school students. Founded after its organizer's own beach cleanups in Malibu, the program has grown to reach the California coast from Humboldt County and San Francisco south to Huntington Beach, San Diego, and Mexico.
