Mainspring Conservation Trust Inc

Mainspring Conservation Trust is a land trust whose mission is to conserve the special places in the heart of the Southern Blue Ridge for the benefit of all, working from an office in Franklin, North Carolina. It has helped conserve more than 31,000 acres in the region through land purchases and conservation easements, alongside stream restoration, brownfield remediation and aquatic biomonitoring. Its other work includes youth environmental education and outdoor programs, cultural heritage preservation, the WNC Wildseed Library, and land management consulting for property owners.
