Magothy River Land Trust

The Magothy River Land Trust is a nonprofit made up of Magothy River area residents in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, and it states that it is a separate organization from the Magothy River Association. It preserves land within the Magothy River watershed by accepting donations of conservation easements and acquiring property through gift or purchase. It also promotes responsible stewardship, identifies undeveloped land with conservation value, and educates the public on how conserving wetlands and forests protects air and water quality.
