The Magothy River Association is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) founded in 1946 to preserve and improve the water quality, plants, and wildlife of the Magothy River and its watershed in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. It represents over 300 individual members and about 30 community associations. Its work includes volunteer water quality monitoring, oyster and submerged aquatic vegetation restoration, reef ball fish habitat projects, and educational outreach.
