The Madeleine Sone Wildlife Preserve is a 24-acre preserve in western Sebastopol, Sonoma County, created by a bequest from Madeleine Sone at her death in 2016. The property includes several ponds and a redwood canyon, and the Loop Trail that Sone built is always open to the public. Operating as a California public benefit corporation and 501(c)(3), it states a mission to protect the wild places of the earth, promote responsible use of ecosystems, and educate the public on environmental restoration.
