Macomb Audubon Society

The Macomb Audubon Society is a Michigan Audubon chapter serving Macomb County, holding its general meetings at the Sterling Heights Nature Center with programs, recent area bird sightings, and refreshments. It runs public field trips and Stony Creek bird walks, and states that meetings and field trips are open to the public with no fees unless noted on the schedule. The society publishes a bimonthly newsletter, The Earthstar, and posts bird checklists and archived presentations on its site.
