Lumpkin Coalition Inc

Lumpkin Coalition is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) in Dahlonega, Georgia, formed to carry out projects benefiting north Georgia and Lumpkin County, and dedicated to preserving a clean and healthy environment, responsible living, and responsible growth. Its best known effort is HemlockFest, an annual concert that raises money to fight the hemlock woolly adelgid, including support for the predatory beetle lab at Young Harris College. The group also runs annual Etowah and Chestatee river cleanups in partnership with Georgia Rivers Alive, supports American chestnut restoration, and maintains the Logan Turnpike trail in the Chattahoochee National Forest.
