Lower Susquehanna Heritage Greenway Inc

Lower Susquehanna Heritage Greenway is a nonprofit that provides leadership, technical assistance, and advocacy to guide land use decisions supporting expanded recreation and economic opportunity along the lower Susquehanna River. It covers roughly 45,000 acres across Cecil and Harford counties in Maryland, extending about 12 miles from just north of the Conowingo Dam to the head of the Chesapeake Bay. Its work centers on building a land and water trail system, increasing public access to the river and bay, and managing a Maryland certified heritage area, a state scenic byway, and three national historic trails.
