Lower Connecticut River Land Trust Inc

The Lower Connecticut River Land Trust works to conserve, study, steward, and promote the unique values and scientific significance, natural and working lands, and the historic, ecologic, cultural, and scenic resources of the communities of the lower Connecticut River Valley region. It operates regionally in support of member land trusts across towns including Chester, Deep River, Essex, Haddam, Lyme, Old Lyme, and Old Saybrook. It provides stewardship grants, technical assistance, a GIS conservation planning tool, and hiking trail information for preserved properties.
