Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust was founded in 1990 to improve the quality of life for the people of Lowell, Massachusetts through education and through the creation, conservation and preservation of parks, open spaces and special places. It protects and stewards properties including Hawk Valley Farm, Concord River Greenway Park, and the Pawtucket Farm Wildlife Sanctuary. Its programs cover environmental education for youth, urban tree planting, river restoration and anadromous fish monitoring, and community science.
