Los Cerritos Wetlands Stewardship Inc

Los Cerritos Wetlands Stewards is a Long Beach nonprofit founded in 1994 that restores, maintains, enhances, manages and researches urban wetland, marine and upland habitats. It runs student and volunteer programs in the field, along with education work meant to show why native habitat matters inside a city. Its projects include habitat restoration and monitoring in local coastal salt marsh, plus wildlife rescue efforts such as the 2021 elegant tern response.
