Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust

The Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust partners with neighborhoods long denied green space to create and sustain parks, gardens, and schoolyards across Los Angeles. Founded in 2002, it says it has served 500,000 Angelenos and added 22 acres of accessible green space, with more than 17 additional acres in development. Its work includes community gardens, green schoolyard projects, brownfield remediation, youth apprenticeships, and affordable housing co-developments, built through deep community partnership and long-term stewardship.
