Long Pond Clean Waters Committee

Formed in 1987, the Long Pond Clean Waters Committee is a nonprofit working to maintain clean water quality at Long Pond, a roughly 121 acre interstate pond spanning Dracut and Tyngsborough, Massachusetts and Pelham, New Hampshire. Its stated mission is creating a healthy, self-sustaining ecosystem using economical, non-invasive, and environmentally friendly processes. Volunteer members work with town and state agencies on invasive species, harmful algal blooms, and nutrient pollution while supporting swimming, fishing, and boating on the pond.
