Long Pond Association Inc

The Long Pond Association is dedicated to the preservation and improvement of Long Pond, which spans Lakeville and East Freetown, Massachusetts. It manages invasive weeds such as milfoil and fanwort using Diver Assisted Suction Harvesting and mechanical Eco-Harvesters, and conducts weekly water quality monitoring in partnership with the University of Rhode Island Watershed Watch to track pH, phosphorus, and bacteria. The association also promotes Long Pond Friendly Living, educating residents on reducing fertilizer use and managing runoff.
