Long Island Conservancy Inc

The Long Island Conservation Alliance, formerly the Long Island Conservancy, began in 2021 as a grassroots volunteer group and is now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to plant native species, remove invasive plants and conserve land in order to restore Long Island's local ecosystem. Its stated focus areas are mitigating flooding and stormwater runoff, improving water quality, and conserving land and native habitat. The organization runs land protection, restoration, native planting and long-term sustainability programs.
