Little Shamokin Creek Watershed Association

The Little Shamokin Creek Watershed Association works on the restoration and protection of Little Shamokin Creek, a sub-watershed of Shamokin Creek covering roughly 37 square miles across four Northumberland County municipalities and designated for the protection of Cold Water Fishes. The watershed is about 65 percent forested, 30 percent agricultural, and 2 percent developed. Based in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, the association organizes volunteer service projects to clean and restore the creek along with monthly community activities.
