Little River Watershed Association

The Little River Watershed Association works to protect, preserve, and enhance the Little River and its tributaries through conservation, education, and recreation. The river rises on the highest peak in Great Smoky Mountains National Park and runs through Blount County, reaching into Sevier and Knox Counties, before joining the Tennessee River. LRWA runs Stream School, stream cleanups, aquatic connectivity projects, and the Little River Snorkel Trail.
