A volunteer group working to protect, preserve and restore the ecosystem and wildlife of the Little Lehigh Creek Watershed in the Lehigh Valley through projects, advocacy, public education and engagement. Its work includes litter cleanups along watershed creeks, planting trees and shrubs in riparian buffer zones to manage runoff and prevent erosion, and mapping the watershed for resident education. The Stewards also monitor road salt impacts on the Little Lehigh and Jordan Creeks and lead a statewide effort to reduce excess winter salting.
